General Assembly (AY 2014-2015)
General Assembly
SME-nute to Win It, An assembly that makes everyone superbly bubbly
-Lloyd Ven Dell T. Cabacuñgan
Last January 29, 2014, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) held their third general assembly with the theme of ‘SME-nute to Win It’. It was a night filled with fun and games that was hosted by our very own Kevin Lee and Benedict Dy. That night was exciting since the members energetically participated in the games with the other batches as well as with their blockmates. Penny Delfin remained the reigning champion on SME’s very own game named ‘SME-numerator’ after several difficult categories. The general assembly was not all about games but it was also a time for the organization to update its members for the upcoming activities and reminisce on the past activities. The night ended with all the members sharing dinner and chitchatting with their blockmates whom they have not seen for a while.
Special events such as this are organized in order to strengthen the bond between its members especially with the officers. This will help them relieve the stress they experience in their academic world. This event also reunited the upper batches since they are already taking their OJT. Truly, this event is special for every member of the organization.
