Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO)
The Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO) is the unit mandated by the University to establish strong lifelong relationships with our alumni and friends. The unit is responsible for establishing mutually beneficial relationship between the University and its alumni.
The University is committed to continuously improve the delivery of academic services and be at par with the world’s best academic institutions. The unit is tasked to support this commitment by generating support, in various forms and through various channels. Generous benefactors and supporters supplement University resources and enable it to pursue its advancement goals.
Further, the AARO espouses and supports philanthropic efforts of the Lasallian Community and friends on and off campus.
In its commitment to excellence, De La Salle University has always endeavoured to provide the elements necessary in establishing a world class University: outstanding students, superior teachers and first class facilities.
AARO generates support from Corporations, Foundations, Alumni and Friends in the form of grants or endowments to help the University achieve its vision.
The AARO is in charge of linkages with our alumni. Its aim is to sustain the “Animo” in each and every alumnus. This is done through updates on University events, activities, students, faculty, alumni news and other programs. Alumni Relations helps connect the alumni with the University through various activities and programs. The unit may also serve as a communication line to the administration giving the alumni opportunities to ask, comment and suggest.
