Social Technology Development

The Social Technology Development (STD) program was conceived as a support program to the four major programs in terms of data processing, theory-building, technology development and knowledge-based management. Its five key functions are the following:
- Research and Evaluation – Evaluate social formation and community engagement efforts using measures based on the Lasallian Guiding Principles, Community Engagement Framework, Catholic Social Teachings and Authentic Christian Humanism.
- Technology and Materials Development – Propose innovative models, materials, tools, measures and programs on social formation and community engagement based on the Lasallian Guiding Principles, Community Engagement Framework, Catholic Social Teachings and Authentic Christian Humanism.
- Knowledge Management and Dissemination – Provide updated, accurate and accessible information on the accomplishments, documentation and research related to the Community Engagement measures stated in the DLSU Strategic Plan for 2016-2020.
- Documentation – Provide detailed and accessible documentation that would support reported accomplishments on the Community Engagement measures stated in the DLSU Strategic Plan for 2016 – 2020.
- Networking and Linkages – Collaborate with COSCA subprograms and DLSU research units in the conduct of research and technology development efforts in their area of expertise.

Resource Mobilization (ResMob)
The Resource Mobilization Program seeks to provide sufficient financial, material, human and other resources to COSCA’s major programs in an efficient and transparent manner. It partners with individuals, companies, organizations, government agencies and other like-minded institutions in supporting the social formation and community engagement programs of the center. It establishes clear accountability mechanisms to assure donors that all funds are used for its intended purpose.
