In reference to Corinne Capistrano [April 2004 graduate], though she just transferred to my team a few months ago, I can say that she is considered as a valuable asset in my department and in the organization. She started in our HR Department as a Recruitment Officer and was recognized for the changes and improvements she made including her excellent performance in delivering quality hires to the programs and departments she support. She is now with the HR Business Partners team where she continues to learn and drive her career to a generalist role and eventually to a full-fledged Business Partner. She is very proactive, results oriented and a fast learner, and I won’t be surprised that she will eventually grow and hold a leadership position in the future.

Noelle Arcinue [April 2008 graduate] is an asset to our team. She is articulate and not intimidated by authority while still maintaining her respectful demeanor. She has excellent project management skills and can be relied upon to attend to miscellaneous administrative details with little need for prodding and follow-up. She is a self-starter. She displays a lot of initiative and speaks up to suggest ideas.

We’ve been a big beneficiary of the ACM program and are very pleased with the quality of interns that have come from it.

I particularly like the proactive stance of the ACM students in seeking the best possible solution when confronted with various work challenges. There was an instance when the team was commissioned to prepare analyses of the POS data from one of our key customers. With minimal supervision, the team was able to come up with sound business analyses based off sales trends and business control. The output significantly helped the category teams understand the effectiveness of in-store projects and develop action plans to address opportunity areas.

In general, I am very happy with the performance of the ACM interns I’ve worked with. They are passionate, driven, and determined. They get things done with minimal supervision. In fact, I had recommended most of them for employment in Citi.
