Recognition, Accreditations and Assessments
The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence– the only CHED-designated COE in the country in the field of IE as per CHED CMO No. 15 Series of 2016.
The undergraduate programs of the Gokongwei College of Engineering, including the BS in Industrial Engineering program, have been granted five-year accreditation by the Philippine Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) from May 2016 to May 2021. They have also been given Level IV accreditation status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
The Bachelor of Science Program in Industrial Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Industrial Engineering (more details can be found at https://www.abet.org/)
Furthermore, the Industrial Engineering Program was assessed and evaluated by the Philippine Technological Council (PTC) for the academic years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
