Abstract:
-The design of Flyback converter requires basic knowledge on transients, operational amplifier, rectifier, filters, and transformers. Calculations of the values of various components are discussed. Some of the components used were P6NC60 MOSFET, SB560, and EE19 transformer core wounded with AWG#29 wire. The output voltage is measured by a digital VOM (Sanwa CD800) for both loaded and unloaded conditions. A 4.93V is noted in both conditions. Loads that were used included a 5V, 0.5A lamp, the 4001 and 4002 NOR gate ICs, and the 741 op-amp configured as a voltage follower. The current measured using a clamp meter ranged from 0A-0.3A.
