AY 2021–2022 Undergraduate Freshman Online Confirmation (ID 121)

1 Q. Get a head start and enroll for Term 3, AY 2020–2021 (classes start in June 2021)

A. Wait for Term 1, AY 2021–2022 (classes start in October 2021)

2 Q. If I choose to enroll this June 2021, what steps should I take?

A. Complete the 3-step process from payment of confirmation fee to uploading of requirements between May 2–22, 2021.

3 Q. If I choose to enroll this October 2021, what steps should I take?

A. Complete the 3-step process from payment of confirmation fee on May 2 — June 15, 2021, to uploading of requirements on June 16–30, 2021.

4 Q. What is the 3-step process to confirm online?

A. 
1. PAYMENT OF NON-REFUNDABLE CONFIRMATION FEE
Pay the Non-Refundable P10,000 confirmation fee through https://my.dlsu.edu.ph/students/DCATResult/.
Notes:
For Dragonpay payment method, please follow strictly the instructions provided by Dragonpay to avoid problems in the clearing process. After payment, please upload a copy of the validated bank slip/online proof of payment via https://forms.gle/LGfY9WxnsXBm4NYH9

2. ACCESS AND DOWNLOAD THE ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION SLIP
Access https://my.dlsu.edu.ph/students/DCATResult/ and click the “ENROLL” button. The Enrollment Confirmation Slip will be automatically downloaded once the button is clicked.
Notes:
Only qualified applicants who have paid the non-refundable P10,000 confirmation fee will be allowed to confirm their enrollment through the system. If the “ENROLL” button does not appear on your screen, it means that your confirmation payment is not yet cleared. Please follow the confirmation schedule according to the academic term you have chosen.

3. UPLOAD COMPLETE ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Follow the instructions in the Enrollment Confirmation Slip which will be automatically generated by the system. This slip will contain your DLSU student ID number, college, degree program, and the link where you can upload scanned copies of your confirmation and enrollment requirements. An enrollment advisory will be sent to you through email once your requirements have been checked and validated.

5 Q. How do I accept the offer for the Honor’s Program as stated in my official offer letter?

A. If you choose to be upgraded to the specified BSMS Honors Program in your offer letter, please accomplish the Google Form through https://bit.ly/3gGaHXC on or before 15 May 2021. Please await for a new status letter accessible via https://my.dlsu.edu.ph/students/DCATResult/ before you confirm your enrollment as stated in the admission guide. Please check your Enrollment Confirmation Slip to make sure that you have confirmed to the correct degree program.

6 Q. Can I request for a change of degree program?

A. Yes, but this will be subject to approval and availability of slots. You may fill out the form at https://bit.ly/3gGaHXC on or before May 15, 2021.

7. Q. I graduated from a ConnectEd school, will my certified subjects in Senior High School be credited as foundation courses?

A.  Crediting of foundation courses will be effected in Term 1, AY 2021–2022. No Foundation Courses will be given during enrollment in Term 3, AY 2020–2021.

8 Q. After enrollment, will I be given a guide on how to access and attend my online classes?

A. Full freshman guide on how to attend classes and how to access all student support services of the University will be provided to the applicant once his/her confirmation requirements (uploaded in the Google Form) have been verified.

9 Q. How much are the tuition and fees for freshmen for Term 3, AY 2020–2021 and Term 1, AY 2021–2022?

10 Q. I did not pass the application process. Can I apply for a reconsideration?

A. Yes, please email [email protected] with subject heading: Reconsideration Appeals (ID121) before June 11, 2021. All appeals will be evaluated based on application documents submitted by the applicant and are subject to final approval of the Admissions Committee. Late requests will not be processed

11 Q. Will there be an orientation for incoming freshmen?

A. Yes, there will be an online orientation for all qualified incoming freshmen in June 2021. Full details of The Greening Freshman Fair will be posted on DLSU’s social media accounts and sent to the applicant’s email address before the event.

1 Q. Is the College of Law application still open for Term 1 AY 2020-2021?

A. The  application period for the the DLSU College of Law is still open.

2 Q. Is the graduate admission still open for Term 1 AY 2020-2021?

A. Application for Term 1 usually is during the first 2 weeks of Term 3.

3 Q. Can I still apply for Term 3, AY 2019-2020?

A. We are no longer accepting applications for Term 3.

4 Q. May we know the Tuition and Fee breakdown?

A. We only can provide a table summarizing the fees the University charges per student.

When computing for the projected amount, kindly disregard fees that are deemed irrelevant to your program (e.g., Athletics, MBA-JD Development Fee, Bar Operations, etc.).

Q. May we know when  the rebates that were announced, be applicable in combination with scholarship grant? 

A. As announced by the University, an official information will be released soon with regards to the tuition and miscellaneous fees rebates for Term 2, AY2019-2020.

The basis of the computation of the scholarship grant will depend on the kind of grant that you have and shall be applied either to the total assessed amount, tuition discount only, or a fixed amount on top of the said discount.

Q. Can we still avail of Graduate scholarship for Term 3?

A. Please be informed that the graduate studies scholarships application period for Term 3, AY 2019-20 20 ended last February which coincides with the admissions deadline.  We can no longer accommodate late applications because the departments and colleges are in the process of deliberating the scholarship applications in time for the release of results on July 15. Q. When is the College of Law Scholarship application?

A. Please visit the link below, for the College of Law scholarship application for Semester 1, AY 2020-2021:

Changes in the admissions calendar and application process will be uploaded in the same link as soon as available.

Schedules are tentative and subject to change based on Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and/or General Community Quarantine (GCQ) conditions.

Q. Is there a SUMMER TERM enrollment for College of Law Scholars?

A. Yes, COL scholars who wish to enroll for the summer term may avail of the scholarship. If you are a partial grantee, please settle first your payable and send us a copy of your summer term EAF with your payment already credited. We will then prepare a Certificate of Support and shall forward it to the Accounting Office for the creation of RF. The Certificate of Scholarship will be sent to you once processed.

INQUIRY ON ENROLLMENT IN FEWER UNITS, ENROLLMENT IN LOA/RESIDENCY FOR TERM 3, AY 2019-20 DUE TO COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Undergraduate and graduate scholars who will enroll in fewer units, or those who will file for LOA/residency for Term 3 due to the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic will be allowed to do so. This will not be counted under the maximum allowable LOA/residency under the scholarship program.

Please check the scholarship webpage and Helpdesk Announcements for the scholarship renewal for Term 1, AY 2020-2201 for the resumption of your grant.

INQUIRY ON SUSPENSION OF SCHOLARSHIP CONDITIONS FOR  TERM 2, AY 2019-20 AND SCHOLARSHIP RENEWAL 

As announced by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics, all scholarship retention and other concerns will be suspended for Term 2, AY 2019-2200. All scholars will be auto-renewed only for Term 3, AY 2019-2020 (except returnees, Thesis, Dissertation, OCE, WCE) regardless of their academic performance in the last term. Please note that scholars must follow the online enrollment schedule to be included in the auto-renewal.

Scholars who will enroll in fewer units, or those who will file for LOA/residency for Term 3 due to the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic will be allowed to do so. This will not be counted under the maximum allowable LOA/residency under the scholarship program.

Q. Can incoming freshmen still apply for St. La Salle Scholarship?

A. The deadline for application was May 15, 2020. There will be no extension of the application.

Please wait for updates on a possible extension or a second application schedule for St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant for Incoming Freshmen. This will be subject to availability of scholarship slots. Updates will posted on the link below:

Q. Does DLSU accept DOST Scholarship?

A. Yes, however please note that the 40,000.00 pesos support from DOST can only be applied for tuition and fees discount and cannot be converted as an allowance or in any other form except for tuition and fees.

Q. Can we apply for scholarship this term 3?

A. The undergraduate scholarship application for Term 3, AY2019-2020 is now closed and there are no available slots for grantees.

Q. Can transferees apply for scholarship?

A. Yes, upon completion of one term of enrollment in the University prior to filing the application for St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant.

Q. Can I apply for the Premier scholarships – STAR/GOKONGWEI/VAUGIRARD? 

A. Please be informed that the STAR, Vaugirard Scholarship Program, Gokongwei Grant, and Archer Achiever are being awarded to the Top 100 examinees of the DLSU College Admission Test.

Q. Will there be scholarships available for applicants who will take the Special DCAT?

A. We regret to inform you that as of the moment there is no announcement of any scholarship application for those who will take the Special DCAT.

Q. How do I apply for the BR. ANDREW GONZALEZ SCHOLARSHIP?

A. The Br. Andrew Gonzalez Scholarship is awarded to qualified applicants are high school students who ranked Top 1 (with highest honors) for each strand (STEM, ABM, HUMMS) of La Salle district schools who have passed the DLSU College Admission Test. Scholars under this program will be awarded a full academic scholarship (tuition and fees) beginning in their freshman year.

Q. Do you have scholarships for foreign students?

A. De La Salle University currently does not have scholarships to foreign students.

Q. Do we have START application for TERM 3, AY 2019-20?

A. Please be informed that there will be no START application for Term 3, AY 2019-20.

Q. Do I need to pay the confirmation fee if I am waiting for the result of the St. La Salle Scholarhsip?

A. Please be informed that you may opt to pay for the confirmation slot or may wait for the release of the result of the scholarship. This will be at your discretion.

Once awarded of scholarship, the confirmation fee is waived and will be refunded (if already paid).

Q. When do we submit the lacking requirements for BPSP AND SCC?

A. The original copies of the requirements must be submitted to OAS once office work resumes to avail of the scholarship grants.

Q. How can I avail of the Athletic Scholarship?

Q. How do I pay my student Loan?

A. Here’s the procedure for the loan payment.

  1.   Email [email protected] to inquire about the amount of your loan balance for Term 2, AY 2019-2020 with the subject title: LOAN CONCERN. Please indicate your complete name and ID number.
  2.   Payment may be made through the partner banks of DLSU by presenting a copy of your EAF and/or assessment. The designated banks of DLSU are Metrobank, Unionbank, and UCPB. Please use the payment slip of the bank, indicate De La Salle University as the account name and your ID number as the reference number.
  3. Once payment has been settled, please send the scanned copy or photo of the validated payment slip to [email protected] for the clearance and to [email protected] for the issuance of Official Receipt.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Please be informed that you may still enlist for the Term 3 Enrollment as the hold clearance will not be implemented.  Term 2, AY 2019-2020 loan payment deadline is extended until end of Term 3, AY 2019-2020. The interest fee is also waived for Term 2, AY 2019-2020 for loan payment.
