Program History
The Manufacturing Engineering and Management (MEM) Program at De La Salle University (DLSU) is a multidisciplinary course which synergizes Mechanical, Electronics, Computers, and Management fields. It was established in 1986 as an answer to the clamor of government and industry for well-rounded engineers, well-versed in the field of automation. In 1991, the produced its first batch of graduates.
The MEM program started to offer two specializations starting Academic Year 2003-2004. The Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering track is composed of the original MEM curriculum. The Biomedical Engineering track was introduced to cater to the needs of the growing healthcare needs of the country.

To provide the industry with multi-disciplined graduates who are research-ready, service-oriented, socially responsible, and with a passion for entrepreneurial endeavors.
- Our Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering graduates will be competent in the multifaceted world of manufacturing and will be prepared to integrate into various levels of management.
- Our Biomechanical Engineering graduates will be synergistic with their ever-developing field and will possess a genuine desire to improve our quality of life.
- Our Clinical Engineering graduates are attuned to the ever-improving industry of healthcare and will be conscientious in the application of new technologies in medicine.
