EBUDDY PROGRAM
Lasallian Exchange Buddies
During the inbound exchange students’ program at DLSU, they are assisted by a group of student volunteers called the EBUDDIES. These student volunteers are equipped and trained to assist inbound exchange students as buddies and student mentors of inbound exchange student. As early as the Orientation and Welcoming Program for inbound exchange students, members of the EBUDDY Program are introduced to them so that they can start getting familiar and know each other better before the start of classes. The EBUDDIES provide support to the inbound exchange students in terms of familiarization with academic culture, the University campus environment, availing of student support services, activities organized for students on campus, academic concerns like schedule of classes, attendance and participation, and similar concerns.
During the Lasallian Exchange and Virtual Study Abroad (EViSA) Program, the EBuddies are now their online chat buddies. Aside from formal sessions, the EBuddies also facilitate Meet and Greet Session and Culture Exchange activities for the inbound exchange students.
