Makinig at Makipag-usap: Conversations on Sexuality and Gender in Religious Education

On April 30, 2022, the Department of Theology and Religious Education of De La Salle University, in cooperation with the Theology Department of Ateneo de Manila University, and the Religious Educators Association of the Philippines, conducted a webinar called Makinig at Makipag-usap: Conversations on Sexuality and Gender in Religious Education with Fr. Byran Massingale of Fordham University. The webinar became an avenue for educators, students, theologians, and pastors to engage gender and sexuality in their scholarship and ministries. It also offered space for youths to share concerns that promote safe spaces in diverse contexts. The webinar supported emerging questions to broaden the discourse on sexuality, religion, and theology that attend to and engage Catholic principles.
