CCS awards winning entries for the MySafeCyberspace Advocacy against Cyberbullying and other Social Media issues
Last November 9, 2018, the College of Computer Studies celebrated the culminating night for the My Safe Cyberspace awareness campaign against cyber bullying and other social media issues. This was a collaborative effort among CCS student organizations, faculty, and alumni in hopes to educate the public on social media netiquette to prevent issues such as cyber bullying. Spring PH, a newly founded mental health organization, was also invited to speak on the importance of having an safe online space and being responsible towards social media use given that cyberspace may greatly affect mental health of individuals. A total of 307 participants attended the culminating night. Congratulations to the winners Julia Agoncillo (3rd place), Jana Francesca Yao (2nd place), and Denise Napa (1st place)!
