Andres Winston C. Oreta is a professor at the Department of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering Division) of De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines. He was the CE Dept. QA Coordinator (2014-2015) and GCOE Quality Assurance Office Director (2015-2016). He was the lead person of the CE Dept. in the implementation of Outcomes Based Education (OBE) in the dept.. He was the 2014 DLSU Awardee, St. Benilde Romancon Pillar of Lasallian Excellence Award in Teaching and Winner-Outstanding Teacher, Lasallian Excellence Awards 2009, Students’ Search for Outstanding Teachers (SSOT). He has conducted action research and presented papers on civil engineering education.
