Application Procedure
- LOOK for opening of application at your Help Desk Announcements, Global web page, International Center Facebook page, posters on campus, etc.).
- IDENTIFY your preferred university and look it up. You need to check the university website to get an idea of their academic calendar for the start of semesters and the possible courses that you can enroll there.
- MATCH the courses that you need to enroll for credits. Be sure to prepare a tentative list of matching courses (at least 8-10 courses).
- ACCOMPLISH your Outbound Application Form and consult with the Global Education Specialist / Student Exchange Program in-charge at the International Center, located at SJ 207.
Qualifications
Who may apply?
General Qualifications: Applicant must –
- Be a Filipino student.
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
- Have a valid passport.
- Be fit to travel.
- Have completed at least 3 trimesters of study at DLSU on the date of application.
- Be a bona fide student of DLSU on the date of application.
- Have at least one (academic) trimester left at DLSU upon return from the program.
Other qualifications may be required depending on the nature of the study abroad/student exchange program being applied by the student.
Requirements
Documents to be submitted at the International Center for those who are applying for regular (duration is 1 semester to 1 academic year) student exchange programs:
To be submitted in a long brown envelope:
- Accomplished Outbound Application Form
- Official Transcript of Records with CGPA from OUR
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Resume
- 2 Recommendation Letters (from Vice Dean and Department Chairperson)
Benefits
What benefits can be derived from the exchange program?

- Tuition and fees are waived, exchange student pays only DLSU tuition and fees
Expenses
The students availing of the program will be responsible for the following expenses:
- Cost of living in the host country
- Tuition fee payable to De La Salle University.
- Round-trip airfare.
- Visa fees, travel insurance, host university insurance (if mandated) and other fees/expenses not covered by the program.
If the program is covered by grants from the host university, this will be indicated in the Help Desk Announcement.
