University Chancellor Dr. Robert Roleda congratulated the offices of the VCRI, the University Research Coordination Office, the Research Ethics Office and the University Publishing House for their work in facilitating the research output of the faculty. He set ASEAN-level publication as the next target, noting that given the University’s current track record, it would not be difficult to be at par with its Southeast Asian neighbors. He emphasized the need to sustain the current level of momentum, and to develop a wider base that would decrease reliance on particular individuals and increase the variability of faculty and student output.
