New SDRC Director Appointed for AY 2010-2011
Dr. Ferdinand D. Dagmang, an associate professor of the Theology and Religious Education Department (TRED) of the College of Liberal Arts, has been appointed the new director of the Social Development Research Center beginning AY 2010-2011.
Dr. Dagmang obtained his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain and his M.A. in Theological Studies at Maryhill School of Theology in Quezon City. He has published articles and monographs on the subjects of ethics, sexuality, popular religion and culture. For the College of Liberal Arts, he has served as editor of the Asia-Pacific Social Science Review. Prior to his current position at SDRC, he served as Graduate School Coordinator of TRED and as College Research Council representative for CLA.
