Enable Browser's JavaScript Function
Some pages in this site may appear or function improperly if the browser in use has not enabled or does not support JavaScript capability.
What To Do
First, find out what brand and the version of web browser you’re using. To know more, check your browser’s Help drop-down menu. From the browser’s Help menu choose the last item labeled “About [browser name]“. Macintosh users should go to the application name menu or the Apple menu and select the first item labeled “About [browser name]“.

Internet Explorer (version 6 for Windows)
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- In Internet Options dialog box select the Security tab.
- Click Custom level button at bottom. The Security settings dialog box will pop up.
- Under Scripting category enable Active Scripting, Allow paste options via script and Scripting of Java applets.
- Click OK twice to close out.
- Hit Refresh.
Internet Explorer (version 5.x for Windows)
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- In Internet Options dialog box select the Security tab.
- Click Custom Level button at bottom. The Security Settings dialog box will pop up.
- Under Scripting category enable Active Scripting, Allow paste options via script and Scripting of Java applets options.
- Click OK twice to close out.
- Hit Refresh
Internet Explorer (version 5 & higher for MacOS X)
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Preferences from the Explorer menu.
- Click the arrow next to Web Browser.
- Click Web Content.
- Under Active Content check Enable Scripting option.
- Click OK.
- Click Refresh.
Internet Explorer (version 5 & higher for MacOS 9)
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Click the arrow next to Web Browser.
- Click Web Content.
- Under Active Content check Enable Scripting option.
- Click OK.
- Click Refresh.
Firefox (version 1.x & higher)
- Open Firefox browser.
- Select Options from the Tools menu.
- In Options dialog box select the Content tab.
- Under Content tab, check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript options.
- Click OK.
- Click Reload.
Mozilla (version 1.x & higher)
- Open Mozilla browser.
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Click the arrow next to Advanced.
- Click Scripts & Plugins.
- Check Navigator beneath “Enable Javascript for“.
- Click OK.
- Click Reload.
Opera (version 8 & higher)
- Open Opera.
- Select Preferences from the Tools drop-down menu.
- In Preferences dialog box select the Advanced tab.
- Under Advanced tab, select Content from the category.
- Under Content category, check Enable Java, Enable JavaScript, and Enable Plugins.
- Click OK.
- Click Reload.
Opera (version 5 & higher)
- Open Opera.
- Select Quick Preferences from the File menu.
- Make sure Enable Javascript is checked.
- Click Reload.
Safari (version 1 & higher for MacOS X)
- Open Safari.
- Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
- Click Security.
- Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
- Close the window.
- Click Reload.
Netscape (version 6 & higher for Windows)
- Open Netscape.
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Click the arrow next to Advanced.
- Click Scripts & Plugins.
- Check Navigator beneath “Enable Javascript for”.
- Click OK.
- Click Reload.
Netscape (version 6 & higher for MacOS X)
- Open Netscape.
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Click Advanced.
- Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript for Navigator
- Click OK.
- Click Reload.
