DLSU Laguna Campus explores collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Philippines

DLSU Laguna Campus recently welcomed a delegation from Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) led by its Chairman, Noriaki Hirakata. The visit aimed to explore potential avenues for collaboration and cooperation on academic and research initiatives.

Discussions focused on developing mutually beneficial programs that bridge the gap between theory and practice. Possible collaborations include an on-the-job training (OJT) program, which seek to provide DLSU students with valuable real-world experience through internships at MMPC facilities, as well as guest lectures that aim to enrich the academic curriculum by inviting MMPC industry experts to share their knowledge and insights.

Dr. Jonathan Dungca, Vice President for Laguna Campus, led the DLSU representatives during the meeting. He was joined by De La Salle Philippines President Edgar Chua, who concurrently serves as advisory board member of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation.
