Call for applications: Open rank, tenure-track position in Communication Arts

The Department of Communication at De La Salle University (DLSU) seeks to hire one open-rank, tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in Communication Arts starting Term 1 Academic Year 2024-2025 (September, 2024).

Priority will be given to applicants with a strong background in creative media practice (i.e. print, audio-visual, digital/multimedia) and who can teach production courses such as photography, broadcasting, video production, multimedia production.

Applicants should hold an earned doctorate in communication (or related fields) upon appointment. They are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor undergraduate and graduate thesis students, conduct quality scholarship, and participate in service at the department, college, and university. Successful candidates are required to teach in-person. 

Review of applications will begin 1 May 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. We are looking to appoint the new Faculty to the above position by the first week of September 2024.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with rank. The proposed rank will be determined through a scorecard.
