About the author
Alexis M. Fillone 
is a full professor of the Civil Engineering Department. He earned his Master of Engineering (Transportation) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand and his PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at the School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP), University of the Philippines, Diliman, Philippines. He has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher in the field of transportation and currently mentors several Master and PhD students. He also has more than 15 years of experience in transport research focusing on travel behavior, urban transportation planning, and traffic impact studies while at the same time doing consultancy work for the government and the private sector. He has published several articles in abstracted and ISI listed journals and presented papers in national and international conferences.
