About the Author

Fe Aldave Yap is the President of the University of Santo Tomas Education Alumni Foundation, Inc., and was the former Commissioner and Director General of the Commission on the Filipino Language (an office under the President of the Republic of the Philippines). She was a Presidential Lingkod Bayan awardee in 2010 and The Outstanding Thomasian Alumni awardee in 2008.
