Graduation Attendance
Faculty members may confirm attendance to the commencement exercises and the reception through the site my.dlsu.edu.ph.
The link “Attend Graduation” is listed under the Registrar’s Office. From there, detailed procedures will be available. For reference, a confirmation number will be issued electronically.
This facility will be accessible on the first two (2) weeks of the term (from 08:00 to 20:00 on weekdays; from 08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays).
As preparations have to be made with regard to the seating arrangement at the PICC, ordering of the toga and making reservations for the reception, confirmation of attendance beyond the end of the second week of the term cannot be entertained.
Faculty members are reminded of the following:
- Check if the name, degree and toga details that the Office of the University Registrar has on file are correct.
- The Office of the University Registrar will deliver the caps, gowns, and hoods in the week leading to graduation day. Nothing will be distributed at the PICC.
- Per existing university policies, caps, gowns and hoods which have been reserved but were unused will be charged to your personal account (P450.00 for Bachelor; P700.00 for Masters; P800.00 for PhD).
- The following will be charged P1200.00/person for the reception:
- Guests of faculty members;
- Faculty members without prior reservation to attend the reception; and
- Faculty members who made prior reservation but did not attend the reception; and
- Faculty members who did not attend the graduation ceremonies at PICC but attended the reception, with or without prior reservation.
- On the day of the Commencement Exercises, the DLSU bus will be available to transport the faculty to and from the PICC. The schedule of departure from the South Gate will be announced via Help Desk.
- No tickets will be issued to the faculty members. The faculty ID will be used at the PICC and at the reception venue for scanning at the entrance. Faculty members should ensure that their IDs are scanned both at the PICC and at the reception venue. The scanning facility will be removed at the PICC once the program has started.
