Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CAV) is the official and formal processes and acts of checking, reviewing, and certifying the genuineness and veracity of available academic records of a learner duly performed by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Pursuant to CHED Memorandum No. 480, Series of 2025, which mandates the full implementation of the Electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (eCAV) system, all CHED authentication, certification, and verification applications must now be submitted and processed through the eCAV self-service platform at https://ecav.ched.gov.ph. As a result, manual and walk-in applications for CAV will no longer be accepted by CHED.

CAV requests will be subject to the following lead times and fees:

*Inclusive of Transcript of Records, Certified True Copy of Diploma, CHED Endorsement Letter and delivery to local address.
*DLSU Processing times exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays and may be affected by work suspensions due to inclement weather, government declarations and fortuitous events.
DLSU shall only produce, and release requested documents with an Endorsement letter.
Once processed, the student the documents must be uploaded by the student to the eCAV platform for authentication. For Juris Doctor students, the documents must be submitted directly to LEB.
DFA appointment procedure shall apply if an apostille is required.
Should the student agree to the aforementioned conditions, please access the Google form to proceed request, upload requirements including a scanned copy of the diploma, and pay assessed fees.
A tracking number will be emailed once documents are released to the courier for delivery to the student’s designated address.
