Qualifications:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree preferably with a degree in Engineering (Electrical or Sanitary) or the Natural Sciences and related fields (i.e. Biology, Botany, Horticulture, Environmental Science);
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Conservation work/Natural Resource Management; and Pollution Control Officer work
- Experience and background in handling environmental/sustainability programs, creation of information, education, communication (IEC) programs, and communication plans.
Job Description/Summary
The Sustainability Coordinator for the Lian Campus shall be in charge of promoting sustainability through lived-out values among members of the Lian Campus and its partner communities. The role ensures the protection and proper management of the marine station and various habitats and green spaces of the Lian Campus. The role coordinates with various university stakeholders engaging in administrative, curricular, co-curricular, research, and recreational activities in the area, intending to promote and implement sustainable practices.
The role promotes a systems-thinking approach in the management and protection of the area.
