Qualifications:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- A PRC licensed Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
- With at least 3-5 years of actual work experience in a managerial capacity of a physical plant and facilities department or its industry equivalent
- With significant experience in running maintenance programs for MECS (mechanical, electrical, civil, and sanitary) plant and equipment
- With significant experience in overseeing major renovation projects
- Proven relevant experience in on-time and on-budget delivery of services related to physical plant and facilities projects, occupational safety, quality and risk strategy implementation
- Demonstrated analytical, leadership and sound decision-making skills
Job Description/Summary
Plans and directs operations/functions of the various support services in the entire University, namely, mechanical, and electrical works, civil and sanitary works, and building and grounds maintenance.
- Initiates plans for the efficient management and delivery of essential facilities-related services to the Lasallian community.
- Plans, coordinates and strategizes development programs to ensure the long-term improvement of the facilities.
- Ensures the attainment of set goals and objectives of each units under the Facilities Management following the laws and regulations related to facilities and workforce.
- Monitors and manages proper implementation and timely completion of plans and projects
- Reviews, evaluates, and endorses the unit heads’ recommendations in the utilization of budgets.
- Recommends for approval of proposals, newly formulated or revised policies/procedures and critical projects that will or may affect one or all of the supervised departments.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied by the ones enumerated above.
