Important Reminders

Current scholarship recipients can expect automatic renewal of their coverage for Term 3, AY 2024-25, pending fulfillment of all scholarship retention requirements and successful participation in online enrollment and Mandatory Confirmation of Enrollment (refer to Office of the University Registrar  HelpDesk Announcement (HDA) dated April 02, 2025).

For the Onsite Manual Renewal of Scholarships for Term 3, AY 2024-2025, a separate HDA will be emailed titled “Schedule and Procedures of Onsite Manual Processing of Scholarships for Term 3, AY 2024-2025”.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Scholars who are eligible for autorenewal must view their credit Reference Number (RF#) via the “View Assessment” facility of the MyLaSalle (MLS) portal starting May 19, 2025 (Monday).  If there is NO RF# reflected in the Assessment of tuition and fees, it means the scholarship is NOT autorenewed. Hence, the scholar must proceed to the venue at the Onsite Manual Renewal during the designated schedule.

STEPS TO FOLLOW AND IMPORTANT DATES AND PROCEDURES FOR AUTORENEWAL

1 Finalize enrollment within the online enrollment/ adjustment period.

 

Last day of online special adjustment: May 10, 2025 (Saturday)

Enrolling students are required to confirm enrollment as mentioned in page 5 of this announcement from the Office of the University Registrar (OUR).

If a scholar fails to confirm enrollment during the scheduled date, all enlisted courses will be auto-dropped: 

  • First Round of Auto Dropping is on May 5, 2025 (Monday)
  • Second Round of Auto Dropping is on May 12, 2025 (Monday)

ONLY COURSE/S AUTO-DROPPED on May 12, 2025 (12:00 AM) CAN BE APPLIED FOR REINSTATEMENT.

2 Check “MLS View Assessment” if an RF# is already available. If none, steps on how to manually process scholarships will be followed.

 

A separate Help Desk Announcement will be emailed for the onsite manual processing of scholarships.

To manually process grants onsite, proceed to the designated venue at the Enrollment Services Hub (ESH) Lobby, 2nd Floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall (HSSH). 

 

3 Check compliance with  the following conditions:

 

3.1 complete adherence to the policies and guidelines and retention policy requirements of scholarship grant.

 

3.2 active enrollment during the previous term (Term 2, AY 2024-2025).

 

Scholars who were not able to comply with any of the retention policies of the grant will have to manually renew their scholarship and, as such, are to proceed to the ESH Lobby, 2nd Flr, HSSH on May 20, 2025 (Tuesday) for a re-evaluation of one’s scholarship status.
4 If all conditions under Item 3 are met, check RF# via the “View Assessment” facility of the MLS account starting May 19, 2025 (Monday). 

If there is an RF#, this means one’s scholarship is already processed through AUTORENEWAL by OAS.

Scholars who do not have an RF# reflected on their MLS “View Assessment” will  process their scholarship manually / onsite.
5 Once RF# is viewable in one’s MLS account, the student may pay the outstanding balance via the accredited payment partners of the University, if applicable.

Make sure to pay the outstanding balance (Student Payable) on or before May 24, 2025 (Saturday). Payments made after this date will incur applicable surcharges not covered by one’s scholarship.

6 Send proof of payment to the Finance and Accounting Office (FAO) to secure a copy of the Official Receipt (OR).

 

7 Ensure that all remaining balances in tuition and fees are paid and all applicable RF/s and OR/s are reflected in one’s MLS account.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

  1. All scholars with failed /withdrawn(W/WP) /dropped/ deferred, INC. grades, who took an LOA/Residency, with underload, with grades below retention policy, etc., are reminded to proceed to the venue of onsite manual scholarship processing during the scheduled date. Eligibility in scholarships renewal for Term 3, AY 2024-25 will be made on May 19, 2025 (Monday) at the ESH Lobby.
  2. Scholarship coverage does not include re-enrollment in courses that are audited, withdrawn (W/WP), dropped, failed, or deferred.
  3. Scholars whose scholarship is not renewed automatically, and those who fail to process their scholarships during the manual onsite renewal will pay surcharge fees amounting to PHP2,500. An additional PHP500 will be imposed for every succeeding week of delay. Kindly refer to this LINK for the guidelines and schedules on late payment of tuition and fees.
  4. The RF# (Credit Reference number) for Term 2, AY 2024-2025 can be used to reactivate one’s MLS Account until Week 2, day 6 of Term 3, AY 2024-2025. Use Term 3, AY 2024-2025 RF# for reactivation beyond the given schedule.

ONSITE MANUAL RENEWAL AND PROCESSING OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

TERM 3, AY 2024-25


We are pleased to inform the academic community that the manual scholarship renewal process for undergraduate, and graduate scholars will be conducted onsite.

Please find the details below:

    • VENUE: Enrollment Services Hub (ESH) Lobby, 2/F Henry Sy, Sr. Hall
    • DATE: May 20 – 24, 2025 (Tuesday to Saturday)
    • Time: 
      • May 20 (Tuesday) – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
        • Evaluation and consultation of scholarship status only
          (no processing and issuance of certificate of support).
      • May 21 – 23 (Wednesday to Friday) – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
      • May 24 (Saturday) – 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN

Scholars who will process their scholarship onsite are expected to have confirmed their enrollment during the Mandatory Confirmation of Enrollment period (NOTE: Refer to pages 5 and 6 of this link for more details)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS TO SCHOLARS:

  1. Scholars who were not included in the auto renewal process are required to proceed to the venue of the onsite renewal of scholarships and grants.
    • To check if the scholarship has been automatically renewed by OAS, scholars must view their credit Reference Number (RF#) via the “View Assessment” facility of the MyLaSalle (MLS) portal on May 19, 2025 (Monday).
    • If a Reference Number (RF#) has been credited to the total tuition and fees, it means that the scholarship has been processed; no need to go to the onsite renewal venue, except for scholars with multiple grants and scholars with upgrade of scholarship.
    • Last day of payment without surcharge for scholars is on May 24, 2025 (Saturday).
  2. Processing of grants must be done by the scholar. In case a representative transacts on the scholar’s behalf, an authorization letter and a valid ID of both the scholar and the representative must be presented at the venue.
  3. Scholars must pay their outstanding balance (Student Payable) on or before May 24, 2025. Payments made after this date will incur applicable surcharge/ penalty fee not covered by the scholarship.
