DESCRIPTION
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas talent Acquisition through Scholarship (BSP TAS) Program targets top performing non-BSP individuals who are pursuing their bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in the fields of economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, data science, and information technology. The objective of the scholarship program is to identify talents that the BSP can nurture with the intent of hiring and developing future central bankers.
Under the program, the scholarship funding for promising DLSU students will cover tuition and miscellaneous fees, monthly living allowance, reference materials and supplies allowance, thesis/dissertation writing allowance, and travel allowance. Through the program, promising DLSU students will also be given the opportunity to work at the BSP.
SCHOLAR QUALIFICATION
The following criteria must be met for applicants to qualify for the program:
- Filipino Citizen
- Willing to work at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
- Currently enrolled or incoming students
- In good health as certified by a physician and validated by the BSP’s Health services Office
- Of good moral character as supported by 2 references
- Passed the BSP competitive examination and screening process
ENTITLEMENTS OF SCHOLARS
- Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees- cost of tuition, registration, student activities, and other academic-related fees as billed by the university.
- Reference Materials and Supplies Allowance- cost of prescribed reference books and supplies (Php 15,000.00 per academic year)
- Thesis/Dissertation Writing Assistance Allowance- expenses for research, reproduction/printing, and other services not billed by the school (up to Php 80,000.00 subject to receipts)
- Living Allowance- expenses for accommodation, transportation, meals, and clothing (Php 30,000.00 per month)
- Travel Allowance- covers local or foreign travel in relation to school requirements.
SERVICE OBLIGATION
Scholars are required to render service with the BSP upon completion of the program ,as follows:

B. A fraction of a year less than 6 months but not less than two months | One year |
C. A fraction of a year less than 2 months | Six months |
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
- Completely filled-out TAS Application Form
- Applicant’s Resume
- A copy of the status letter for incoming students or the Enrollment Assessment Form for current students.
- Medical Certification that proves that the applicant is in good health.
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation that could attest that the applicant is of good moral character.

NOTES:
SUBMIT all application documents in a short brown envelope properly labelled with the applicant’s complete name (SURNAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE INITIAL) in big upper case letters on the upper left corner on the backside of the envelope. The Office of Admissions and Scholarships (OAS) reserves the right to decline applications that have not met the criteria set by the Office.

Submit all the requirements to the Enrollment Services Hub located in the following campuses:
- The Hub at the Manila Campus, 2/F, Henry Sy, Sr. Hall;
- The Hub at the Makati Extension Campus (MEC), 5/F, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza; and
- The Hub at the Laguna Campus, 2/F, Milagros Del Rosario Building
Applicants will be given a Document Tracking System (DTS) number to track their application status.
