DLSU – IBEHT TULAY PhD Scholarship
The De La Salle University – Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies (DLSU-IBEHT) is currently implementing the project entitled, “Tulong, Ugnayan ng Lingap At gabaY (TULAY): Co-designing Community Physical Rehabilitation in the Philippines”, a project funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research – Global Health Policy and Systems Research (NIHR-GHPSR) through the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom. The NIHR-GHPSR awards funding support to areas of applied health policy and system research, which aims to ultimately strengthen and improve health systems for low-middle income countries (LMICs), like the Philippines. The TULAY project is a national project that aims to produce a co-designed, sustainable community-based self-management physical rehabilitation program using stroke as a test case. It aims to be implemented and assess its impact on self-management skills, patient well-being, and self-efficacy.
