THE NEW GOOGLE WORKSPACE STORAGE POLICY
Beginning July 2022, Google will no longer offer unlimited storage to educational institutions. To learn more, you may read on this link.
Your storage is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos and your account will have a storage limit for all data.
The new Google Workspace storage limits will be implemented as follows:

When your account reaches its storage limit, you will be unable to sync or upload new files in Google Drive and cannot back up any photos or videos.
