What’s new in DLSU Google Workspace Storage Policy?

Google no longer offers unlimited storage to educational institutions beginning July of 2022. To learn more, you may read the announcement from this link.

Who are considered alumni?

All students who have earned one or more of the following:

Grade 12 Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s degree
Doctorate degree

What will happen to my DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) account?

For Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (includes Tañada-Diokno School of Law) alumni
By September 2023, your DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) account will no longer be accessible and available. This includes your email, drive, and photos, among others.

How can I download my data and files from my DLSU Google Workspace(@dlsu.edu.ph) account?

You can use Google Takeout to download your data and files. To download your files, follow the instructions on this link.

I forgot the password to my DLSU email (@dlsu.edu.ph) account. What should I do?

To access your DLSU email account, fill out the DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) Password Reset form.

Will I still have a Microsoft 365 account?

Microsoft 365 account will no longer be available for DLSU alumni. Hence, you will not have access to One Drive, Office 365, etc.

What will happen to applications using my DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) account as the primary login or email (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin)?

You may encounter difficulties using your applications. We encourage you to change your email address to avoid problems.

Do email attachments use up storage space?

Yes, email attachments count toward the amount of storage you use up.

Can I opt to pay to retain my DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) account?

No. This is not an option because all alumni accounts will be deleted.

What will happen to my account after I complete Grade 10?

Your DLSU Google Workspace (@dlsu.edu.ph) account will no longer be accessible by the end of Term 1 of the next Academic Year.

What will I do if I need more help?
