VILLAGRACIA, AL REY C.
Al Rey Villagracia is Research Fellow and Full professor at the Physics Department, De La Salle University. He received his PhD Degree at De La Salle University sponsored by the Department of of Science and Technology under the Accelerated S&T Human Resource Development Program. He was an exchange student as a visiting researcher in Osaka University under the Short Course Quantum Engineering Design program sponsored by Japan Student Services Organization(JASSO). He was designated as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for 2D Materials and Graphene Research Centre of National University of Singapore from January 2017 - April 2017. He received a Postdoctoral Research Scholarship grant from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to conduct his research at the University of Arizona under Prof. Dr. Joel Cuello (April 2017 - November 2017), and at the University of Florida under Prof. Dr. Adrian Roitberg (December 2017-March 2018. His research interest is mainly on computational physics and mathematical modelling, which includes the following but not limited to molecular dynamics, stochastic input-output models, complex systems such as traffic dynamics systems and epidemic outbreak, and density functional theory applications on hydrogen storage, 2D Materials, and polymer/metal interface interactions.
