ONG, CLEMENT Y.
Mr. Clement Ong is an Assistant Professor at the College of Computer Studies (CCS) of De La Salle University-Manila. He served as the Chair of the Computer Technology Department, overseeing the Computer Systems Engineering and Network Engineering programs, and was the recipient of an IBM Faculty Award in 2011. He heads the Center for Automation Research, a laboratory focused on robotics, embedded systems and developing analog-digital system hybrids. Clem worked on automated steering of tractors and trailed implements at the National Centre for Agricultural Automation (NCAA) and received his Master of Engineering, in Mechatronics, from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. His current research interests include unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), mobile robots, audio engineering, and almost anything involving the application of microcontrollers.
