Unisse Chua received her Master of Science in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from New York University's Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP). While working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Urban Intelligence Lab at NYU-CUSP, she worked on the development of the New York City Energy & Water Performance Map (https://energy.cusp.nyu.edu/) and the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report (https://nyc-ghg-inventory.cusp.nyu.edu). After graduation, she worked as a Data Visualization Engineer for the Analytics, Computing and Complex Systems (ACCeSs) research lab at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). Prior to completing her masters, she worked for Indra Philippines, Inc. for four years as a software developer and over a year for Macquarie Offshore Services, Pty. Ltd. as a front-end developer. Upon joining De La Salle University, she has taught during the Upskill Data Science Summer School and is currently acting as a faculty mentor for the Center for Complexity and Emerging Technologies (COMET). She has also developed an interactive storytelling visualization portal of an existing research project for the #VizRisk Challenge (https://comet.dlsu.edu.ph/riesgo-vis/).
