Question #2: Who do I refer?
- A student who is in a difficult or crisis situation needing counseling
- A student, who has personal problems and complains of anxiety and depression, poor self-image, relationship problems with his/her family, peers, etc.
- A student who manifests the following warning signs and symptoms:
- Performs very poorly in both oral and written exams
- Shows lack of interest and motivation in his or her studies
- Talks aloud and distracts others in class
- Isolates himself or herself from the group
- Seems to be perpetually tired, anxious, depressed, irritable, angry, etc.
- Is often late or absent
- Fails to submit work on time
- Manifests deterioration in grooming or hygiene
- Shows signs of dramatic weight loss or gain, etc.
- Talks about suicide
