This July 1, De La Salle University opens its doors to cross enrollees from other schools through the Lasallian Open Online-learning Program or LOOP.

LOOP is offered by DLSU as a lead institution in CHED’s efforts to set standards in online education.

By getting in the LOOP, you can cross enroll in DLSU courses that can be credited to your degree program in your home school.

  • Your tuition will be pegged to pre-set categories that mirror your home school’s tuition rates.
  • You will have access to DLSU online classes and online library resources.
  • You will be required to comply with course requirements in order to earn grades, which will then be submitted by the DLSU Registrar to your home school’s Registrar for crediting.
  • You may also enroll in audit classes, which will not entail compliance with course requirements and also not earn grades.

Who can get in the LOOP?

Students who are currently with the following institutions, consortia, and other universities may cross enroll in DLSU:

  • De La Salle Philippines schools
  • South Manila Educational Consortium (SMEC)
  • University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) member schools
  • Other recognized universities in the Philippines and abroad

How does one get in the LOOP?

  • Your school is a partner institution of DLSU.
  • Your desired course is available. You can cross enroll a maximum of 18 units.
  • Your GPA is equivalent to DLSU’s 2.0 or 85.
  • You can secure approval to cross enroll from the Registrar in your home school.
  • Your school is a partner institution of DLSU
  • Your desired course is available.

Take two simple steps and you’re on your way:

  • Fill out the online application form on http://bit.ly/LOOPform as instructed. Let your school’s Registrar help you with information about your GPA and tuition rates in your school.
  • Your Registrar must e-mail the accomplished form to [email protected]. Wait for communication from the DLSU Registrar’s Office.

LOOP makes DLSU education accessible through tuition categories, which are pegged to your home school’s tuition rates

The per unit tuition rate of your school will determine your tuition in DLSU from among the four categories:

A fixed online cross enrollment fee of PHP 2,500 will take the place of miscellaneous fees and cover:

  • AnimoSpace Learning Management System
  • Trimestral registration
  • Insurance
