DAILY MASS

The Eucharist brings about spiritual healing by cleansing us from sin and restoring us in charity. “As bodily nourishment restores lost strength, so the Eucharist strengthens our charity, which tends to be weakened in daily life.” (CCC 1394).

    • By tradition, all Saturday Masses are dedicated to the intentions of graduate students.

    • Mass for the Bar Takers (online)

Four consecutive Masses held every Saturday at 6:00 PM during the month-long Bar Examination is held to accompany the Bar Takers spiritually.

 

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION (not offered during the pandemic)

This service is meant to accompany the students in their spiritual journey and live an examined life. A priest is available for them on a scheduled day and time at the Pearl of the Great Price Chapel (PGP Chapel) or BGC Campus. Due to the pandemic, this service is suspended.

 

ONLINE SPIRITUAL DIRECTION/ACCOMPANIMENT

To accompany the Lasallians in their everyday journey and find the meaning of life, leading them to love God faithfully, Sister Rosarie Ollano for the BGC Campus (every Friday) and Fr. Luis Lorenzo for the main campus serve as spiritual directors for the graduate students.

 

ONLINE MENTORING/CONSULTATION

Aside from, Spiritual Accompaniment, some students also seek mentoring/consultation, seeking advice on personal matters related to their studies and journey as Lasallians. This service is directly under the care of the coordinator for graduate students. This program is offered via Zoom or via phone call.

 

ONLINE RECOLLECTION/RETREAT

A longer time for reflection and prayer is devoted to this spiritual experience. Despite the pandemic, this service continues to be offered to all graduate students at least twice per term. Please see notifications via https://www.facebook.com/LSPOManila/ or via the Help Desk Announcements.

Coordinator in-charge Profile

Ms. Gracita S. Perez earned her MA in Religious Studies Major in Catechetics at Don Bosco School of Theology in Parañaque City (2011). She is the inspirational book author for law students and young lawyers  –  Faith, Joy, and Justice published by Rex Bookstore (March 2021). Her skills in module writing and in facilitating recollections and retreats contribute to the spiritual development of the Graduate Students of the university.

As of AY 2020-2021, Ms. Gracita Perez has been designated as the Graduate Student Formation Coordinator. While she has other related tasks, this must not interfere with her main task of ensuring efficient spiritual services for graduate students.

With the gradual finalization of the Graduate Student Lasallian Formation Course, LSPO is determined to hire a full-time ASF that shall oversee the course.
