Lasallian receives first Xinyx scholarship

A graduating student from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering of the Gokongwei College of Engineering was awarded the very first Xinyx Scholarship on July 14.

The Xinyx Scholarship program is part of the Campus Connect program of Xinyx Design Consultancy and Services Inc. The program aims to empower the next generation of Filipino integrated circuit (IC) designers.

In its press statement, Xinyx announced that Isabelle Rose Sta. Rita has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and a deep interest in the field of IC design, aligning with their mission at Xinyx.

As a scholar, Sta. Rita will receive financial assistance, mentorship from experienced IC designers, and access to hands-on industry training to equip her with skills to thrive in the semiconductor design field.

“This scholarship is more than recognition; it’s a responsibility I carry with pride. It pushes me to live up to the standard of excellence that my university and Xinyx stand for, and it reminds me to stay grounded, humble, and to always be willing to learn.” Sta. Rita said during the awarding.
