Qualifications:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, or any related field
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience
- Knowledgeable of software which the Information Technology Services Office uses
- Knowledgeable of web authoring, forms design, and multimedia design
- Experience in raster graphics and motion vector graphics design (enough to understand and implement designer concepts)
- Skills in Rich-Internet Applications (RIAs) integrated with recent versions of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), JQuery, and Cascading Stylesheet (CSS)
- Ability to work on both PC/Windows and Mac OS platforms
Job Description/Summary
The Web Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining web content and graphics for both digital signage and university websites. This role involves collaborating on web maintenance, coordinating with university units for policy updates, and evaluating tools for web design improvements. The Web Designer also provides feedback for policy enhancements, manages performance targets, and maintains effective communication within the academic community.
