De La Salle University’s journey toward the fulfillment of its mission-vision as a “leading learner-centered and research university that is attuned to a sustainable Earth” prompts its campaign to make environment-conscious habits become part of everyone’s lifestyle. But care of the environment cannot be achieved without the concerted effort of the various sectors of the society. De La Salle University therefore celebrates, as it further encourages, the linkages it has established with local government units and the industry as it promotes the well-being of the environment.

DITECH 2016, the 4th DLSU Innovation and Technology (DITECH) Fair, therefore, takes the theme #Green Future: Harnessing Academe, Government and Industry Partnerships for a Sustainable Earth, with the following sub-themes:

1. Role of the academe in consciousness-raising about the dangers the environment faces
2. Role of the industry in promoting the welfare of the environment
3. Role of the local government units in safeguarding the environment
4. Issues arising from collaborations among academic institutions, LGUs and the industry in protecting the environment
5. Issues about the promotion of environment-friendly lifestyles
6. Issues preventing the reduction of carbon footprint
7. Issues in keeping the campus or company sustainable
8. Issues in environment-conscious policy-making
9. Spirituality and Environment
10. Humanistic sustainable practice
11. Environment-centered Organizational Innovation
12. Best practices in Innovation and Technology addressing climate change
