New Approaches in Teaching and Learning at Tertiary Level

Call for Country Papers

Each member country of the ASAIHL is invited to submit a country paper on the theme “New Approaches in Teaching and Learning at Tertiary Level”, with preference given to actual experiences and case studies. Each country paper must be endorsed by the ASAIHL country head that would be representing the country in the ASAIHL Board.

Proposals for paper presentations must be sent to [email protected] by October 5, 2012. Proposals should include a title, abstract of not more than 250 words, and a 3-page extended abstract (Specifications: A4 with 1-inch margins, Times-Roman 12 font, single space, pdf file). Full Paper should have a maximum of 6 pages, standard letter size. Please also submit a CV of the paper presenter.

Important Dates

Abstract Submission: October 15, 2012
Full Paper Submission: November 15, 2012
Notification of Paper Acceptance: November 22, 2012

Delivery Format

Individual Paper Presentations and Country Papers: Limited to 15 minutes presentation with 5 additional minutes for questions and open discussion.

Registration Fee

 

Foreign participants: US$300 (includes conference kit, airport transfers, snacks, lunch and cocktails on December 6, and snacks and lunch on December 7)

Local participants: Php7,500 (includes conference kit, snacks, lunch, and cocktails on December 6, and snacks and lunch on December 7).

Early bird rate: 10% discount for early registration valid until November 15, 2012.
