Jeremy Jay B. Magdaong is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at De La Salle University, where he also serves as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, graduating Summa Cum Laude and receiving the Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Graduate and Outstanding Graduate Thesis awards. Jeremy’s research experience includes roles as an Urban Sustainability Specialist at the National Research Council of the Philippines and as a research intern at the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. His research contributions encompass developing machine learning models and AI tools for energy and environmental applications, including energy markets, microalgae cultivation, and electricity load forecasting.
