Dr. Ronnie Concepcion II received his PhD in Electronics and Communications Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence in Biosystems from the De La Salle University (DLSU) in 2021. He started as an Associate Professor in DLSU (2021–present). In 2022, he was appointed as Capstone Coordinator and the Industry-Academe Linkages Coordinator, and as the Graduate Program Coordinator in 2023–present. His research topics mainly include AI in agriculture, digital phenotyping, applied evolutionary computing for future food systems optimization, biosystems, bioenergy, biomaterials, and space agriculture.
