Ms. Giselle Joy C. Esmeria is a full-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of De La Salle University Manila. She is currently the chair of the department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from Mapua Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering Management with specialization in Systems Management from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM). She is a Certified Professional Industrial Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and over 25 years in the Academe. She has taught courses in quality management, statistics, production operations management, and other related engineering and business courses. Her research interests include optimization, manufacturing, and disaster management. She is a member of the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineering (PIIE) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering degree at De La Salle University Manila, Philippines.
