Dr. Jayson P. Rogelio is a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer (ECE) and a Career Scientist II at the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). He is the Supervising Science Research Specialist and Head of AMERIAL at the DOST-Metals Industry Research and Development Centre (DOST-MIRDC). He brings over 13 years of professional R&D expertise and more than a decade of teaching experience in various universities.

Dr. Rogelio has made significant contributions to automation, robotics, and smart systems, with notable achievements such as the development of the “Super Lilok” 3-axis CNC Router Machines, which preserve the cultural heritage of wood carving in Laguna. He was also the project leader of the Development of the Microwave Vacuum Dryer and the Development of the CNC laser machine under the Machine Building Program of DOST, which drove innovation in manufacturing, food processing, and sustainability.

Dr. Rogelio exemplifies dedication to science and technology with 26 Scopus-indexed publications (15 as the primary author), multiple intellectual property awards, and recognition for excellence in research and review.
