Gerald Pacaba Arada finished a Doctor of Philosophy in Electronic and Information Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kowloon, Hong Kong, under the Postgraduate Studentship Scholarship Program awarded by the Hong Kong government. He was a visiting professor at Tokyo City University, Tokyo, Japan, from 2019-2020. He also held administrative positions, such as Vice Chair of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department at De La Salle University and Program Coordinator of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He worked for Analog Devices as a Test Development Engineer for three years. At present, he is an Associate Professor in the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Gokongwei College of Engineering of De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. His research interests include array signal processing, wireless communication, and the Internet of Things.
