Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering
De La Salle University

Jonas Egan Reyes has been a practicing Civil/Structural Engineer since December 2006. Starting as an on-the-job trainee, Engr. Reyes climbed the ranks from Junior Design Engineer to Senior Designer and Lead for various projects of DCCD Engineering Corporation. An alumnus of the De La Salle University-Manila, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering in 2006. He passed the licensure examination for Civil Engineers in November 2006. Engr. Reyes is also a regular member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP) and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE).

Currently, he is a Project Manager and Associate Civil/Structural Engineer for the Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing (SEMP) Division of DCCD. He has handled projects involving the Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Telecommunication sectors. In May 2024, Engr. Reyes joined the DLSU Civil Engineering Department as a part-time Professional Lecturer.
