Assistant Professor Cheryl Lyne C. Roxas specializes in construction technology and management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines – Diliman and her Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, through the ASEAN University Network Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (AUN/SEED-Net) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) program. Her research interests encompass construction management, the use of fly ash and seawater in concrete, cost estimation, artificial neural networks, and design for manufacturing and assembly. She currently serves as the head of the Construction Technology and Management Division, head of the GCOE Library Committee, and coordinator of the department library committee. She is also actively involved in the DOST Science for Change Program CRADLE project, titled SMART in House Construction.
