Raymond R. Tan is a Distinguished Full Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering, a University Fellow, and an Academician of the Philippine National Academy of Science and Technology. He has over 500 Scopus-indexed publications and an h-index of 59. He co- developed the carbon emissions pinch analysis (CEPA) algorithm, and is an editor-in-chief of Process Integration and Optimization for Sustainability and an associate editor of Sustainable Production and Consumption. He has been ranked among the top 2% of scientists in the world since 2019, and is listed by Reuters as one of the world’s 1,000 most influential climate researchers.
