Educational Background

Dr. Susan A. Roces is a Full Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department and the Chemical Engineering Coordinator of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). She was the DLSU Link Coordinator on the Academic Collaboration between DLSU-Manila, University of San Carlos, Cebu, and University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Technology, United Kingdom funded by the British Council. She was the Business Manager of the project entitled “A Post Graduate and Industrial Training in Sustainable Technology Project” funded by the European Union and Asia Link. She was awarded a visiting professorship at Kyoto University, Japan under the International Innovation Center. She is a member of the international scientific committee of the Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering from 1994 up to present and appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the ASEAN Journal of Chemical Engineering from 2001 up to 2006. Her research interests are on biodiesel production and waste to energy technologies. Her academic and research endeavor had led to paper presentations in different international conferences and publications in both national and international journals/proceedings
