Carla Mae Pausta is a chemical engineer, currently teaching in De La Salle University. She recently finished her post-graduate degree, PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering, at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, through the DOST-Newton Fund PhD Programme. She was also part of the research team, Project NexCities, who was awarded the 2019 Newton Prize by the Newton Fund and British Council.
