Dr. Choi was able to conduct thesis and dissertation experiments at Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science. He was a Research Professor in the University Core Research Center for Disaster-free and Safety Ocean City Construction. He was awarded the 2024 NAST Outstanding Young Scientists Award and the 2023 NRCP Achievement Award. He is a recipient of the Academic Paper Award and Professor Wen-Jie Liang Memorial Academic Paper Award awarded by the Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering in 2017. He is actively involved in research projects and has showcased his expertise with 54 publications and a Scopus h-index of 19.
